Philip Treacy

Irish hat maker Philip Treacy was born in 1967, and started sewing at age five. Later, when he studied fashion at the National Collage of Arts and Design in Dublin, he realized hats were his calling. Today he is a world renown "hat artist", who deigns hats like sculptures. His amazing head ornaments have been worn by both princesses and superstars, and a few years ago he also tried his hand at creating shoes for Valentino.
