About half of the little egg is covered in white enamel over a guilloché ground. The other half consists of a faceted, gold mounted amethyst. It was created by workmaster Feodor Afansiev.
The hight of the egg is 0.4 inches (1,75 centimeters), and it was once owned by Vladimirovna Chatelain - Lady in Waiting of Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna (sister of Tsar Nicholaus II).
So very pretty, love the purple...enchanting piece!! I hope you have a marvellous weekend my dear! <3 <3 <3
