There are so many Fabergé objects out there I could probably do these Fabergé Friday posts for the rest of my life. Haha! And today's object is a pendant, made by workmaster
Alfred Thielemann, sometime between the years 1880 and 1890.
The pendant is designed as an Imperial double-headed eagle set with diamonds, mounted in silver and gold. It is 2.6 cm and in 2013 it was sold at
Christie's.
This is lovely, amazing how this could go on for a very long time, having produced that many creations...really wonderful. A lot of artists only get to produce so many in their life. I love it. Happy Friday doll, I hope you have a great weekend :) xx
