Wilde Latex!

I just found a latex designer I hadn't seen before - William Wilde. Wilde has specialized as a bespoke Bridal wear cutter, fetish wear designer and custom designer at luxury Soho nightclub The Box in London. He has also worked in Vegas, designing costumes for a show, and dressed several celebrities. In 2010 he revealed his debut latex collection - Madame Boucherie - which became an instant success. All latex pieces are made by hand, and sometimes combined with luxury fabrics, signature prints, and other detailing. Here are a few of my favorite picks. For more, please visit his website!

Latex Persephone Pencil Skirt and Opera Mittens

Restricted Love...

Latex clothes can sometimes look very trashy. But if done right, these rubber clothes can be very cool and stylish - as in the case of designer Atsuko Kudo's rubber designs. Kudo wants to empower women around the world through latex couture, and has won several prices for her designs. She founded her label in 2000, and has always been inspired by the dark glamour of the mid 20th century. This clearly shows in her collection Restricted Love, which was created especially for the London Lingerie event that was held as a benefit for the 7 Bar Foundation - a cause which provides micro finance loans to impoverished women worldwide who are trying to set up their own businesses. Here are my favorites from the collection!

PS. Notice the latex hats!!!

Viktor & Rolf Spring 2014 Couture

I love fashion, and I love ballet. So when I saw the runway show from Viktor & Rolf's showcasing of their Spring 2014 Couture collection, I was quite satisfied! The designer duo had enrolled twenty one ballet dancers from the Dutch National Ballet to show the collection - which consists of body hugging, nude colored latex outfits, sometimes hand-painted with trompe l'oeil ruffles, birds and bows. Here are my favorites, and a little video from the show!

Virose Affair

Many of my friends model latex clothes. That has never really been my style - until I actually met these friends, and saw the gorgeous, luscious result of their latex photo shoots! I wouldn't wear it to any event. But I would love model it on the runway, or for a photo shoot - and I would certainly wear it to the right party, now that I know how good it can look if designed the right way...

...Which brings us to today's post! Two of my friends, and fellow models at Nocturnal Agency, have just started their own latex company! The two girls in question are Elegy Ellem and Miss Loulou, and their latex brand is called Virose Affair. Here comes a peek of these two talented ladies designs:
