Fräulein Frauke Presents: Under The Sea!

I always do a bit of promo for the Fräulein Frauke Presents, and that's because these events are so good!!! Created by Swedish burlesque star Fräulein Frauke, together with her husband, photographer John Paul Bichard, it's finally time for an evening of decadence and burlesque at beautiful Nalen again! And as you can see from the title of this post, the theme of the party this time will be Under The Sea!

Inspiration for the night comes from "handsome but dangerous" tattooed sailors, scary sea monsters, bathing beauties, alluring sirens, and Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

On stage we will see:

Christopher Wonder (US) - Mr Wonder, a magician and conférencière!
Cleo Viper (IT)- Straight back from the roaring 20s!
Fräulein Frauke - the Saucy Songbird
Virginia Valentine - Virginia V the Pirate Queen for the evening...
Manda the Octupus Act - Circus artiste extraordinare!
Pepper Potemkin - Burlesque Bombshell
Kitty Sincane - one of Sweden's newest burlesque starlets.
Janne Sjöblom Trio - Giving jazz to the people!

Because Fräulein Frauke Presents just has started a collaboration with Cointreau, the one-hundred first well dressed guests will be getting free Cointreaupolitans! The two best dressed will win fabulous prices in the form of Marilyn Monroe's favorite champagne - Piper Heidesieck, and a very exclusive exhibition of Dita von Teese will also be taking place during the night...

If my little costume-project turns out well, I'll be going as a burlesque water nymph. But if I had had some extra cash in my mattress I might have gotten this scaly Elie Saab dress...

...Or this fish-tail-like piece by Christian Siriano!

The date for the event is September 8th, and the time 9 pm - 2 am! Tickets can be pre-bought at Nalen! Looking forward to be amazed, entertained...and possibly a bit tipsy!

  1. Wow, this event sounds perfect for me!! I would be a little water mermaid with a lil' dark and glittery 20's twist...wonderful!! I hope you enjoy, it would also have been perfect for me as it would have been a late birthday celebration, since my birthday is the 5th of September!! You go and have fun for me...and take pictures :))))) xx
