Happy New Year my darlings!!!

2013 was a really bad year for me, so I'm hoping 2014 will be so much better! To at least end the past year, and begin the new one in a good way, I will be celebrating New Year's Eve at Fräulein Frauke's burlesque New Year's masquerade ball at Nalen! Thank you so much - both old followers and new - for spending some of your time reading my blog during the past year! If no one read it, there wouldn't be any reason for me writing it you know... I hope you all will have an amazing New Year's Eve, and a fabulous year to come! Lots of love and red lipstick kisses to everyone!!!

Mrs. Murphy's House Warming Party

Downstairs at the beautiful Berns in Stockholm lies the erotic shop Pom Pom Parlour. Mrs. Murphy had decided to move in there, and last Friday she had her house waring party!

I wore a black pencil skirt from Daisy Dapper and a corset Fanny gave me once for helping her in her ex vintage shop. Peeking out of the corset is the underwire bra from Dita von Teese's Von Follies collection.

Bracelets and earring I had made myself with pearls from Swarovski.

The evening started with drinks in Ljusgården (The Light Yard), where the bartenders looked stylish in their white bathrobes.

Then we went down in the basement - and Mrs. Murphy's new home - which she had decorated very nicely!

She handed out streamers to pop, and small champagne bottles with bubbles to blow - here demonstrated by gorgeous Lenore Caine. Then the party began...

...and me and the girls made ourself at home in Mrs. Murphy's "apartment"! Here are Tifa, Lenore, Elegy Ellem and Ida.

Of course Ellem had to lick something, so she went for one of the big, inflated champagne bottles. She also licked my teeth. But that was after I licked hers. She had a bit of lipstick on one tooth, and I just wanted to help her. Um...Anyway...

I found a nice epée in Mrs. Murphy's lodgings, but I managed to go through the whole evening without killing anyone, so I guess I did good! As usual when it comes to Mrs. Murphy, it was a fabulous evening, and I hope I'll get invited to her "party apartment" again some time!

The M-Party

My friend, photographer Michael Vincent McCarthy Kellerman, just turned a year older. He and his wife Fanny had organized a birthday party, for which all guests had to dress up as something that begins with the letter "M". I decided to go as the "Morning after". You know, when you fall asleep in your makeup after a night's heavy partying, and then when you wake up the next morning, you run screaming out of the bathroom after seeing your own reflexion in the mirror...

After messing up my makeup, and teasing my hair a bit here and there, I finished off the work of art by tying a condom in my hair. Always wear protection you know!

My feet looked a lot better then my face though, wearing my Frederick's of Hollywood Spring-O-Lators from the 50s! I also wore a lovely red robe from Betty Blue's Loungerie.

The birthday boy himself was dressed up as Mickey Mouse...

...while his gorgeous wife was Minnie Mouse. Love her newest tattooes by the way - made after old bookmarks!

Fanny's brother in law Leo came as a mummy. If you run out of toilet paper, it's always good to have a mummy nearby!

Albin was dressed as Mitch Buchannon. He demonstrated his skills in running down a beach in slow motion, and I have to say I was impressed! Fellow burlesque dancer Ruby Luscious was 80s Madonna. Albin insisted on taking some polaroids of me and Ruby in the bathtub...

That is what i call classy! And this was before we got drunk! Or...actually, Ruby went to bed early with a sore throat, and I had to take it a bit easy to be able to organize a surprise birthday party for my mom the next day...

One of us got drunk though...Many other fun, crazy, weird "M-people" came to the party, but I didn't get any good pictures of them. Michael put up a big flash in the kitchen, and took some very fine photos of the guests - which I hope never will reach the Intra Net though...

Crayfish Party

When August arrives we Swedes feel the need to stuff ourselves with crayfish - and so we arrange crayfish parties! I was invited to one of these traditional feasts last Saturday, and this is the story about how well that went!

Since we had such a wonderful midsummer's eve celebration at Liv's and Rikard's place earlier this summer, we we're all happy when we heard these two people were going to arrange a crayfish party at the same place! When we arrived the traditional paper-moons were already hanging in the windows!

When I stepped in through the front door it took about four and (maybe) a half second until a glass had magically appeared in my hand. We started with the good stuff - champagne!

Then Tifa gave me something blue - which also turned out to be good stuff!

I wore a black, 50s inspired dress from *cough* H&M *cough*, here seen matched with the necessary crayfish party-hat! You might want to ignore the fact that I'm already on my third drink here...

Our hostess, Liv, showed us how proud she is of her Norwegian heritage!

Usually it's too cold in the evening for outside-eating this late in August, but we were lucky enough to get some really nice weather! Around the table we hung multicolored lamps. And then it was time to eat!

My crayfish might not have been as big as some other people's. But at least they had a nicer color!

La table! Full of candles, wine, food, and happy people!

A bit later. At this time of summer the nights have started to get darker, and with the help of a few blankets we were able to sit outside until the sky was completely black and full of stars!

The candles and the colored lights created a magic ambience...

...and all by a sudden Tifa started feeling holy!

It rubbed off on me too, and for a while we were holy together...Then we went inside and danced and drank more wine! Even though people started going to bed, me and Tifa had decided we wanted to watch the sunrise. So at 6:30 am we took our wine and went down to the water - and this is what we saw...

The water was like a mirror, covered in mist that was moving over the surface in a pink light. We sat on the landing-stage for quite some time, just gazing at the beautiful scene!

Last picture before we went back to the house for a few hours sleep...

Oh yes, there were two cats too!

Blind Penti...

...and the not so blind, but very cuddly, Milton! You should always acknowledge the cats!

Midsummer's Eve

Every summer around the summer solstice, we celebrate Midsummer's Eve here in Sweden. It's a ancient pagan tradition that nowadays involves pickled herring, schnapps, and dancing around a big, flower clad phallus symbol - the midsummer pole! Last Friday it all went down, and I had been invited to a party out in the Swedish country - the perfect place to celebrate this feast - and the weather gods smiled at us! The house was situated high up with an amazing view over the water!

The first thing we did when we arrived was to go down to the landing-stage and look at the water!

I was wearing my 30s dress from Old Touch (wrote about it before here), and I have to say even I enjoyed being hit by the rays of the sun! For a little while...

Tifa looked lovely - as always - but the wind tried to mess up her hair!

When it was time to prepare lunch all the ladies went into the kitchen, while the men stayed outside drinking alcohol. As traditional as it can be...I guess...

Traditional Swedish midsummer food! Fresh, boiled potatoes, smoked salmon, boiled eggs with caviar, salad, pickled herring, and stuff like that...Here you can also see two small versions of the big phallus symbols...

Then we ate! Another thing that must be on the table this day, is the schnapps - or "nubbe" as we call it in swedish.

There was no question to which schnapps glass was mine, since I naturally marked it with red lipstick to show it belonged to me - a tactic I sometimes use on certain men too...Observe that this glass is actually shot glass-sized, and not as big as it might look in the picture!

Now and then during the day we took a break from the festivities, and went into the bedroom to cuddle with the two cats locked in there for the day.

Then we mingled on the mountain for a while...

...and cuddled with each other instead!

My dress and my wine! Then it happened!...

...Bacchus came to me and I saw the light!

After that enlightening experience Jocke decided to climb up on the roof.

The bravest among us followed him up there. If these three people ever start a band together, I think we have a good promo picture here...

Me and Tifa on the roof. The view from up there was breathtaking! Getting down was a bit more difficult than getting up though, since the unsteady ladder was held by to unsteady (read: drunk) persons...

As the sun went down over the forrest...

...the men gathered in the kitchen! For now it was time to prepare the meat, for the barbecue, and that is manly!

There was so much testosterone flying around in the air at that moment I almost fainted...

At midnight Jocke treated us to some champagne. Thank you Jocke!

After that some went to bed, while the rest danced around in the kitchen, until the sun started to rise and we went back down to the landing-stage to watch all the beauty around us.

The water was so still it was hard to tell what was up and what was down.

Henrik tried to take a good photo of the scenery...

...and I decided to make it a bit more difficult for him - while at the same time looking out for pirates! Unfortunately I had let my hair out, and with a fast grab and pull from Henrik...

...I ended up in this position, which kind of reminds me of something from The Exorcist...

Then Jocke found a champagne cork, and we decided to go to bed! A few hours later I woke up and tip toed out of the house, while the rest of the lucky bastards kept sleeping. Because I had to go to work!
