New Outfit (And How To Eat Cookies Like A Lady)...

Every girl needs a good ninja outfit. This us mine! It's slim and really easy to move in, which makes it perfect for kicking ass! Haha!

Since I got both pieces in black, it looks like a pantsuit, but it's actually capri pants and a top - both from Pinup Girl Clothing's line Deadly Dames. They both exist in several different colors, so you can really mix and match with these two pieces.

After an enjoyable visit at my chiropractor for some bone cracking and acupuncture I headed over to Lenore Caine's place. As both me and Lenore work as alternative models, we've become really good at posing in front of the camera - as can be seen above. I think any cookie company would be proud to have us as their brand ambassadors! Then we played Wii and cuddled with the cat.

This is Myysan. As she's super cuddly and kept moving around, being cute, it wasn't easy to get a good picture of her paws. What I wanted to show you is that she has thumbs! This probably facilitates handling an iPhone, which she obviously does since she has her own Instagram account - @theofficialmyysan. It was a good day...

Take Me To Church!

I hope you're all enjoying the summer, and that the weather isn't too bad for you, wherever you live in this world! Here in Sweden it's been far too cold to resemble summer so far, but now it's finally starting to look a bit better! I'm right now on a three week vacation from my "normal" part-time job, which means I have time to work with other things, and managed to book four photo shoots. Why rest when you can be creative? Haha! Still trying to relax a bit, read a few books, and see some neglected friends though. So if I only do two - instead of my normal three - blog posts a week sometimes it's just because I need some rest, and time to do other things, for a few weeks. Y'all shouldn't be inside reading blogs during the summer anyway! Haha! But thank you so much for reading mine! If no one read it, there wouldn't be any reason for me spending so much time writing it you know...

So today I have a wonderful video for you! The video is made to Hozier's Take Me To Church, is directed by David LaChapelle, and features Ukrainian born ballet dancer Sergei Polunin. This man isn't just an amazing ballet dancer, he's also a tattooed ballet dancer! This isn't something you see so often, as tattoos aren't that popular in the ballet world. It wasn't until I broke myself and realized I would never be able to have a "real" dance career, that I started getting my own tattoos. So, here it is. Enjoy!

PS. This dancer can take me to church any time! Hehe...

Tattooed Porcelain Girls

Jessica Harrison is an artist based in the UK. Her work ranges from stone sculpture and mixed media installation to lithography and video work. "Her research considers the relationship between interior and exterior spaces of the body, but looks neither inwards toward a hidden core, nor outwards from the subconscious, instead looking orthogonally across the skin to the movement of the body itself, using the surface of the body as a mode of both looking and thinking." She "re-describes the body in sculpture through the skin, offering an alternative way of thinking about the body beyond a binary tradition of inside and outside."

One thing Harrison has created is a series of tattooed porcelain figurines. They look like classic, pretty porcelain ladies in flowing dresses, but the difference with these is that they all have their skin covered in Sailor Jerry style tattoos. I love this mix of pretty feminine and cool tattoos! And well, I do have a lot of friends who look kind of like this in real life. Haha! Here they are:
