30s Shoot And Tipsy Models...

Usually when I do shoots I'm the only model on set, but a couple of weeks ago we were three in front of the camera! My co-models were Lenore Caine and Emma Green, and our photographer was Miss Kryseis. 

The theme of the shoot was "picnic in the 1930s", so I put on my 30s-inspired dress from Stop Staring.

Then we headed out to our location - the romantic Eco Temple in the Royal Haga Park. It was a lovely, sunny day, with spring warmth in the air.

Miss Kryseis' idea of a picnic in the 30s was girls sitting on a blanket playing cards while smoking and drinking, so she had brought the best photo prop ever - Marquis de Sade Champagne! Lenore opened the bottle like a boss, without hitting anyone with the cork!

I have never gotten tipsy during a shoot before, but this is how happy we were after finishing both the shoot and the bottle. This is how being a model should always be! Haha!

Accessories: Leather Gloves, A Riding Crop.... And A Cat

A while ago I did a shoot with photographer Jonas Mattsson. The location was his apartment, and since he has a cat - Nina - I ended up with her as a co-model. She was very curious about what we were doing and found my riding crop to be a fun toy. As she was running in front of the camera all the time, we let her be part of a few of the photos.

The only light we used was the sun shining in through the window, and the lingerie I'm wearing in most of the photos are from Dita Von Teese's lingerie collection Von Follies. And here is the result!

I love this last photo! While Jonas was changing the film in his camera I was cuddling with Nina. Just when she gave me a good head boop he snapped this pic. I wasn't ready for it at all! Haha!

Behind The Lace Mask

When you cover someones eyes you realize how much of his/her personality actually sits in those two globes. The person becomes more mysterious and untouchable, and it's difficult to read his/her feelings... For my latest shoot with photographer Jan Persson we covered my eyes with a lace mask. Since the lace is partly see through you can still get a glimpse of my eyes. But I love the effect of this mask! Need to wear it to a party some day...

As usual Jan uses both digital cameras and Polariods, and here is the result!

At Tyresö Palace - Part 2

So, here comes the second part of the photo shoot I did with photographer Charlotte Hall at Tyresö Palace. After the first part, which you can read about here, we took a coffee break at the palace. Just then the sun disappeared and with the thunder came the rain... But just as I predicted, the rain stopped when we had finished our coffee. So then I changed into my new, red, playsuit from Emmy Design, took my shoes off, and skipped out into a stream. Sitting on a mossy rock under the green trees, listening to the mix of the murmur from the water and the thunder was wonderful! And here are the pictures Charlotte - also standing in the water - caught of me.

The playsuit doubles as a bathing suit, so if the water had been a bit deeper I would have gone for a swim. Oh well. Maybe some other day...

Third Time's A Charm

I just did my third photo shoot with photographer Cato Lein, and as usual he managed to create some mysterious magic with his camera. We did the shoot in my apartment, with the thought of trying to get sort of a desolate, motel feeling. The only light used is what naturally came in through my windows. Here is the result!

The bottom one is my personal favorite. It reminds me of an old fashioned French card...

Polaroids In The Forest

I love shooting with Jan Persson! Not only is he a very good photographer, but he also liks to experiment with his arsenal of cameras from different ages. For the pictures below we got together in the woods to see what we could do with his Polaroid. I love how the colors turned out! The two black and white photos were taken with an old camera from the 40s, that were used to take pictures from planes during WWII. With that one you have to stand really still! As my face got a bit blurry in one of them I obviously didn't stand still enough. My bad... Anyway - here is the result!

Beneath The Blossoming Trees...

In the center of Stockholm lies a park called Kungsträdgården (The King's Garden). When spring finally arrives and the Swedes come out of hibernation, this is one of the places they gather en masse, frighteningly staring up at that big shiny thing in the sky - wondering what it is, at the same time they bask in that lovely light. The two longest sides of the park are lined with cherry trees, and for a short time each spring they they bloom, transforming Kungsträdgården to a fairytale park. Photographer Charlotte Hall came up with the splendid idea to do a shoot beneath these trees, so to match the blossoms I put on a light pink vintage dress from the 50s and my pointe shoes. And here is the result!

After the shoot, when I came home, I took my bra off and flower petals fell out of it. Haha!

In The Royal Garden...

This is Drottningholm Palace, where the King and Queen of Sweden live. One grey, cold and stormy day last week me and photographer Charlotte Hall went there to do a shoot in their lovely garden. And of course it had to start raining too, just as I tried to let my curls out behind the shelter of a big tree - that didn't really give any shelter for the storm though... Charlotte held an umbrella over me as I tied my pointe shoes on and took my warm clothes off, and then we performed probably the quickest shoot in history! Haha! We shot at two different locations, and when Charlotte checked the time span we had been shooting for in her camera, it turned out we had been working for a total amount of ten minutes! But we still managed to get 166 photos - which almost all were usable according to Mrs Hall. So I guess this proves that a shoot really doesn't have to be that long if both the photographer and the model at least have some clue of what they're doing...

So, here are some of the pictures we managed to produce! I'm actually glad it was raining and that the wind kept blowing through my hair, as that just helped in making the photos look the way they do. The dress I'm wearing is a tulle ball gown from the 40s, which I found on coralvintage on Etsy.
