As Dita's perfumes are nowhere to be found in Sweden, and I still haven't come across them while traveling, I haven't gotten the pleasure of trying any of her perfumes yet. But about the scent of the newest one - Erotique - Dita says herself; "Erotique is an aphrodisiac accomplishment, an elixir of alchemy inspired by a time when perfume meant something different than it does now. With it's heady melange of opposites, Erotique's poetic contrast of leather accords and burnt embers with rare voluptuous rose is not for the faint of heart; it is intoxicating, animalistic and carnal, potent weaponry for a Maestra of the erotic arts." I would love to try both this one and her other perfumes some day... Here is also a video with some behind the scenes clips from the photo shoot done to create the promo pictures for the perfume:
Yessss....I need this perfume, have been very excited about it!! Her perfumes smell amazing!! Just what I like, not sickly sweet, but mysterious and gorgeous!! I will be trying to get my hands on this soon :))) I hope you have a gorgeous week doll!! <3<3<3
ReplyDeleteI know how huge a Dita fan you are Miss Meadows so I really hope that you enjoy this new one, exciting especially just with Christmas around the corner!
ReplyDeleteAs someone who loved her first three perfumes I sadly have to say that I find Erotique horrible. All I smell is old leather, cigarette smoke(!) and wood. But not in a good way. More like an old shabby gentlemens club. My Mr. even said it reminded him of an ash tray. It gets a bit better after a few hours, but erotic isn´t what comes to my mind with this scent.
ReplyDeleteOf course perfumes are something very individual and other people might completely disagree on this!
A gentlemens club is what I saw in my head when I read what scents have been put together in this perfume! :) Even though I haven't smelled any of Dita's perfumes yet, I have a feeling this one won't be as popular as the previous ones... ;) xox
DeleteI bought samples of two of them on The Perfumed Court. I've only tried one, so far, her first, but it has a note that smells exactly like stale water flowers have been standing in for too long. Not Nice in other words. A lot of modern perfumes have that off smell on my body and I suspect it is something synthetic that doesn't work with my chemistry. Anyways, The Pefumed Court sells samples. :)
ReplyDeleteTack för tipset! Jag vill helst inte lägga ut en massa pengar på parfymer innan jag faktiskt har fått lukta på dom, så jag funderade över vart man kunde få tag på små prover av Dita parfymer. Nu vet jag! :D xox
