With her motto "Beauty is Art" Dita von Teese now releases her Classics makeup line for Art Deco. About beauty and the transformation with makeup, she says: "The truth is that I'm quite an ordinary looking girl. When I was a little girl, I remember watching classic Hollywood films from the 40s and noticing that these glorious women were painted that way. Glamour is about creation, and any woman who desires it can learn to create it for herself as I have. I believe that makeup has the power to transform any ordinary woman into an extraordinary one."
And here are the products:
Compact powder - Face Fatal No. 1. A micro fine compact powder that with it's oil-absorbing ingredients creates a transparent, gently matt finish.
The Art Couture Lash Volumizer Mascara - Raven No. 01. A jet black, perfume-free mascara, combining volume, extension and separation of the lashes in one.

Artificial Lashes - Diva No. 39 (with black rhinestones). Made of real hand-tufted hair. Easy to attach and reusable.
Since I'm a vintage girl - leaning towards the more glamorous part of vintage, just like Dita - these products and colors are what I usually wear when it comes to makeup. So for me all of these things would be interesting to try out! But if I could chose only a few the powder, lipstick and artificial lashes would come first!
Photographer Ali Mahdavi, who shot the beauty campaign, says: "There are no ugly women, only lazy women", and maybe he is right...
Ooooh...I love a bit of vintage glamour!! And I agree with what Ali said..I think it's very true!! Yesterday was funny because it was such a nice day for once, so I put on one of my vintage dresses and make-up (since my baby daughter was behaving herself long enough for me to do it, otherwise I just put the dress on and powder) and I needed to get my older daughter from school and when I got there, like all the ladies standing around were in sloppy jeans and t-shirts and they just glared at me, I thought 'do I have something on my face? ;) It's a perfect time in this world to be a vintage girl...bring back the glamour and art of getting dressed..and who doesn't love vintage dresses anyways!?! I quite love these eyelashes with the sparkly bits in them :))) I think we should use all these products, put some gorgeous vintage frocks on and go paint the town red ;)))) Xoxox
