Full Moon

Photo: Charlotte Hall

This month's full moon picture was taken by my friend photographer Charlotte Hall. She has shot me many times, and also takes amazing nature photos! The music I'll give you this time might not be so full moonish, but it's a great summer tune with a nice beat - Michael Jackson's Love Never Felt So Good, from his new album Xscape. I'm a big Michael Jackson fan, and I really like this album! It makes me feel good...

At Tyresö Palace - Part 1

So far the Swedish summer has been grey, cold and rainy. But luckily for me and photographer Charlotte Hall, the sun came out the day we had planned to do a shoot at beautiful Tyresö Palace. I had never visited this palace before, but the surroundings were gorgeous, with lots of places perfect for shooting at! For the first part of the shoot I wore a dress from Bernie Dexter's collection, and it fit very well into all the greenery.

After this we took a coffee break at the palace, and listened to the thunder that had started rolling over us. I love thunder!!! Then I changed into my new, red, playsuit and jumped out into a stream! But more about that another day!

Don't forget you can also follow me on Facebook for more updates!

In The Royal Garden...

Source

This is Drottningholm Palace, where the King and Queen of Sweden live. One grey, cold and stormy day last week me and photographer Charlotte Hall went there to do a shoot in their lovely garden. And of course it had to start raining too, just as I tried to let my curls out behind the shelter of a big tree - that didn't really give any shelter for the storm though... Charlotte held an umbrella over me as I tied my pointe shoes on and took my warm clothes off, and then we performed probably the quickest shoot in history! Haha! We shot at two different locations, and when Charlotte checked the time span we had been shooting for in her camera, it turned out we had been working for a total amount of ten minutes! But we still managed to get 166 photos - which almost all were usable according to Mrs Hall. So I guess this proves that a shoot really doesn't have to be that long if both the photographer and the model at least have some clue of what they're doing...

So, here are some of the pictures we managed to produce! I'm actually glad it was raining and that the wind kept blowing through my hair, as that just helped in making the photos look the way they do. The dress I'm wearing is a tulle ball gown from the 40s, which I found on coralvintage on Etsy.

Cemetery Shoot

A few weeks ago, I met a lovely photographer who wanted to do a ballet shoot, inspired by The Ballerina Project. We decided to do it at one of Stockholm's big cemeteries. It was a very grey day, and I went there dragging my achy leg behind me. Charlotte on the other hand had just gone through knee surgery, and came jumping on crutches. The cemetery felt like a good backdrop to our states of mind at the moment... Haha! We did manage to get some good shots though! And here is the result!
