New Dress

I got two dresses from Santa this year - one new, and one vintage. This is the new one!

It's from H&M and made of powder-pink, slightly shiny lace over an under-dress in the same color. I think it's perfectly fine to wear light or pastel colors even in the winter. It's all about the design of the dress. With the high neckline and long sleeves this one has it's perfect for colder weather!

Another thing that was hiding under the Christmas tree with my name on it is this little vintage purse. Even though it's small, it still has good room inside for necessary things, such as powder, red lipstick, iPhone and a small vibrator. You know, things you can't leave the house without... Haha!

Metal bag

Found this metal vintage bag at Beyond Retro in Stockholm. The girls in the shop said they thought the mods had been carrying bags like this in the 60s. To me it doesn't look like a mods bag at all. But I'm no expert in that certain culture, so I'm going to keep my mouth shut about it. I haven't found anything about it on the net either, and there's no engraving on it to give me a hint of where it comes from. But if anyone has seen anything like this before please tell me!

It's made of metal, with a dark blue velvet lining, has a rope with tassels as a handle, and can probably be used as a pretty effective weapon for a girl walking home alone in the middle of the dark night. I just know that if someone attacked me at a time like that, he would probably wake up the next day with a serious headache!
