Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2015 Couture

If you've been following this blog for some time, you know that I LOVE designer Ulyana Sergeenko, and have a desperate need to post about her new creations. Well, she doesn't disappoint with her Fall 2015 Couture collection either... She did her first couture show three years ago, and earlier this year the Chambre Syndicale made her an official guest member. As usual she finds inspiration in her native country Russia. This year her designs focuses on Saint Petersburg's Soviet-era communal apartments, where the huge homes of the rich were divided among their once-grand owners and sailors, peasant families, KGB officers and army men. Charlotte Olympia's new Cruise 15 Collection is clearly inspired by a summery Mexico! Both shoes and bags are decorated with colorful flowers, Day of the Dead skulls, and fruit that make your moth water! Here are a few pieces from the collection. Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2015 Couture

Russian designer Ulyana Sergeenko does it again - makes me drool all over my computer that is... Her Spring 2015 Couture collection is full of beautiful pieces, that as usual shows how inspired she is by Russian style through time. Conversation Starting Bags

Angela & Roi

A while ago Kizzy of the blog The Dainty Dolls House did a post on bags that are sold to donate money to different causes. As I thought this was a really good idea, I decided to help spread the word, and do a post on this too! The bags are made by Angela & Roi, out of vegan leather and durable fabric, in a vintage-looking design with a modern twist. When you buy one of their bags, five USD are donated to a certain disease charity, depending on what color the bag has. A lot of the time, when things are sold to collect money for a good cause, you end up buying something ugly, that you will probably never use. When I noticed these bags though, I was happy to see that they actually look great! So if you choose to donate money by getting one of them, you will actually end up doing something for both the world and your own bag-closet! Haha!
