My all time hero in fashion is Christian Dior! There is another man though, who could make clothes that
almost equal Monsieur Dior - Jacques Fath (1912 - 1954)!

Jacques Fath |
Monsieur Fath was a completely self-taught designer, learning his craft from studying museum exhibitions and books about fashion. He presented his first collection in 1937, and became - together with Christian Dior and Pierre Balmain - one of the three dominant influencers of postwar haute couture.

Who knows how big he would have become had he lived as long as Christian Dior...
I think he would have become as big as Dior, such stunning work..really enjoyed it. I would have worn any of these from the different years. How sad luekemia took such a talent away!! xx
ReplyDeleteThis guy is actually an incredible talent, these photos are awesome! Great post as usual. Thanks so much for your comment too, it was honestly touching to me as were the rest of the supportive comments. Thanks for praising my song too, means a lot!
ReplyDeleteThe creations are just fabulous! So sad his life was cut short by disease.
