Things I DON'T Want Right Now

So. Here we go again. The second part of my worst finds from the Fall/Winter 2012 Ready To Wear Collections. Time to bring out the barf-bags!

J. W. Anderson

I have seen many of my friends in latex. They all look very sexy. Here, something must have gone terribly wrong though...

Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott

If my boyfriend wore something like this...No, wait. I don't even have a boyfriend. Case closed!

Julien David

I know how she feels. Some days you just feel like dressing up as a white cactus...

Junya Watanabe

...Or in a skirt made of dried poo...

Louise Grey

Here we have a clear case of "what happened?".

Maison Martin Margiela

"Bartender, could I please have a straw to my cocktail? A long one."

Maison Martin Margiela

This outfit is great if you have a habit of getting toilet paper stuck in your skirt! No one would notice!

Marc Jacobs

Can someone please tell me how big fashion designers can create things like this?!!!

Meadham Kirchhoff

I had a comment about this one, but I felt it was superfluous...

Miguel Adrover

Here, it's all about the hat!

Neil Barrett

And here we have the perfect jacket for back-pregnancies!

Proenza Schouler

Nice proportions...

Ter et Bantine

Hm...

Viktor & Rolf

It's horrible how animals suffer because we humans want to steal their fur nowadays. Especially when the fur is used in a complete wasteful way - like in the...um...dress?...above!

VPL

Ok. This last one just makes me cry. Did she forget to shave her leotard?...

Louis Vuitton F/W 2012/2013 Ad Campaign

I've never been a big Louis Vuitton fan - except for when it comes to the way they present their ad campaigns! I did a post on their S/S 2012 ad campaign earlier. If you haven't seen it, you can find it here! Compared to that ones delicious ice cream pastels, the F/W 2012/2013 campaign is much more somber - as it should be, since it shows the designs for the darker seasons...

Louis Vuitton's artistic director, Marc Jacobs, says that these ads are meant to evoke "the glamour of travel and the romance of going somewhere". The photos were taken by Steven Meisel, inside the reconstructed interior of the Louis Vuitton Express.

During the Louis Vuitton Paris fashion show the whole train entered the runway. When the models stepped out of it and the music started, it felt like looking at the first scene of a movie set in older days. I love the way they had chosen to show the bags during the show. The models - or should I say the traveling aristocratic ladies - of course didn't carry their own bags! For this job each girl was followed by an impeccably dressed bellboy who carried her luggage - and so showed it off for the audience! Here is the show:

From July 5 the web site lousvuittonexpress.com will document the train's journey from Paris to Shanghai - where the trip ends at the famous Bund on July 19. This event coincides with the opening of Louis Vuitton's first maison in China, and an exhibition of travel articles.

Things I DON'T Want Right Now

As usual, after one of my Things I Want Right Now posts, a Things I DON'T Want Right Now post follows. Get ready to be horrified!

Celine

First of all - doesn't this picture look pretty weird? Out of proportion? Then we have the outfit too. One of the pieces, put together with something else, might have worked. All of them together just looks like an unkept garden...

Marc Jacobs

This is a clear case of wallpaper-camouflage! The only thing she needs to do is finding a wall that looks exactly like her outfit and stand next to it. Gone!!!

Norma Kamali

I love black lace! This is probably the best example I have on how to not use it though!

Reed Krakoff

And here we have the poor school girl who wants to be really hip, but just gets it so wrong!

Reed Krakoff

Uhm...

Willow

Uhm...again...

Roberto Cavalli

Seriously - what the f is that thing hanging between her legs? Looks like a built-in camel toe...

Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 Ad Campaign

I saw the ad campaign for Louis Vuitton's S/S 2012 collection a while ago, and directly felt like eating it! The pictures look like ice cream, milkshakes and candy! Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs says about the campaign: "The spirit of our Spring/Summer 2012 collection is reflected beautifully in this new ad campaign. All the tone and texture of the collection - the lightness, the prettiness, the broderie anglaise, the millefeuille layers of organza - are recreated in these wonderful images by Steven Meisel. It is all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic."

And here are the pictures!

Doesn't they look delicious?!!!
